A complete renovation, building additions and campus re-planning of a 1966 high school in west Atlanta. Exterior work centers on adding windows to a windowless building, introducing natural light to the interior. The complete interior renovation maximizes the exterior lighting opportunity by relocating service areas to the core and classrooms to the exterior. The new gymnasium provides 2700 bleacher seats, main court space with cross practice courts supported by varsity and visiting locker rooms. The new auditorium includes a 700-seat performance space and a complete music suite for choral, instrumental and individual practice rooms.
